About Our Principal

Principal Dr. Fuad Aldaraweesh

Fuad Al-Daraweesh, Ph.D., is the principal of CAO. He began his educational career as an ESL teacher for middle school. Then as a teacher of foreign languages. Later on, he earned a Ph.D. in Educational Foundation and Leadership. He has been teaching Theory and Social Foundations of Education for pre-service teachers. He also has been a graduate faculty member at Judith Herb College of Education, where he supervises and helps graduate students during the final phase of writing a dissertation. Before becoming a principal, he was in charge of administering the blended learning model at CAO. He brings over 18 years of experience in education. He co-authored a book entitled Human rights education beyond universalism and relativism: A relational hermeneutic for global justice. Palgrave Macmillan published the book in 2015. In addition, he published numerous journal articles about educational leadership and social justice education. During his free time, he likes to play and watch soccer.
